MOVEMBER & The Men In My Life

It’s Movember and all the talk is about men’s health, so I’m here to write about the top 3 men in my life.  I wasn’t sure whether to title this blog post, Three Blind Mice, The Three Musketeers or The Three Stooges….kidding.

Let me introduce the 3 main men in my life; my ‘little’ man, my ‘nearly’ a man and my ‘main’ man.

My ‘little’ man Joe is my baby.  He insists he is not a baby at the ripe old age of 6, tall as kids 2 years his senior and wise as any wise guy his age.  He is Mr. Personality who doesn’t lack confidence.

MO Joe

Liam is my ‘nearly’ man who is 12, catching up to me in height and constantly playing any sport as long as it doesn’t interfere too much with his hockey training.  He is focused when he needs to be and funny with riddles and jokes rolling off his tongue (although looking very serious in the photo below).

MO Liam

And then my ‘main’ man Bill.  I wont sing his praises too much causing blog readers to roll there eyes but I can say he is driven, determined, great to do life with and inspires me to be the best me I can be.

MO Bill

My 3 Men are important to me and I am thankful that the Movember Foundation seeks to make a global contribution to men living happier, healthier and longer lives.

I don’t know what THE formula for healthy, happy & longer life for men is but I have some ideas:   eating right, physical activity, balanced lifestyle, support network, participate in activities you enjoy, stay positive, give back, count your blessings, get enough rest/sleep, find a doctor & visit your doctor.

The Canadian Movember Foundation website has a wealth of information on the topic ( https://ca.movember.com/).

Men are pretty incredible but despite what they might think, they are not invincible.  Help your main men live happier, healthier & longer lives.
