Coats For Kids
If the pile of coat donations already collected at EcoDairy is any indication, this year’s Coats for Kids campaign is going to be our best yet.
The campaign officially launches this Saturday and we are calling for your warm, gently used winter clothing donations to make this Christmas a little brighter for those in need locally.
We have even heard a rumour that a very special visitor from the North Pole is expected to make an appearance.
That’s right, Santa Clause will drop by the EcoDairy between 11am and 2:30pm to find out what’s on children’s Christmas lists and pose for photographs by donation to the Salvation Army.
Upstairs, in Santa’s workshop we will be providing crafts in partnership with The Reach Gallery, while downstairs parents can enjoy hot chocolate, hot apple cider, tea and coffee while the kids participate in games and other fun activities.
Everybody who donates to Coats for Kids will receive a $2 off admission to EcoDairy while for all of Saturday, we will be offering a special family admission rate of just $15!
If you can’t make it this Saturday, you can still donate to Coats for Kids. You can drop your donations to EcoDairy or to the Abbotsford News until January 16.
