Green breakfast smoothie
Whoever said it`s not easy being green hasn`t tried this delicious breakfast smoothie!
Packed with protein and calcium, this tried and tested recipe from our friends at Restaurant 62 is sure to give you enough energy to see you through to your lunch break and beyond!
Hint: when we made this at home, we added water instead of juice to keep the sugar content low. It`s plenty sweet with the natural sugars from the berries and bananas!
Green Breakfast Smoothie
- 1 kale leaf (stem off)
- 2 Tbsp hemp hearts
- ½ cup Vitala vanilla yoghurt
- 1 tsp hemp oil
- ½ cup Vitala milk
- ¼ cup berries
- ½ banana
- ½ cup water or juice
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
