Making My List and Checking It Twice…are those kids of mine naughty or nice?

Every year in December my friend Angela and I take a road trip weekend away.  We enjoy catching up with one another without the interruption of kids and daily demands.  All that is on the agenda is rest, relaxation, coffee, good eats, great conversations and laughter and a whole lot of shopping.  I am not an expert shopper and I am generally not a lover of shopping.  But all that changes when shopping with an expert like Angela.  Out of all the people I know Angela has the greatest sense of style all her own and she is a style genius when it comes to wardrobes, home décor or toys that are all the rage. So going shopping with her is a treat.

This past weekend was a success just like every other year.  My wardrobe got a bit of a facelift, my kids stockings are stuffed and presents are purchased.  And…Bill tells me the kids weren’t naughty but nice while I was away.
