It’s Beginning to Look (and feel) A Lot Like Christmas

It’s beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas, especially with all this snow. Brrrrrrrr…it’s cold but this winter wonderland is beautiful.

It’s not every year that we get to enjoy a white Christmas and I wonder if this blanket of snow will last until then.

There is a lot I love about the snow:

how silent everything is when the snow falls

that even at night it’s not dark outside because of all that crisp white snow

how everything sparkles

watching my dog roll in the snow

listening to my kids laugh as they play in the snow

how cozy it feels inside when there is snow outside

There are a few things I don’t like about the snow…people who don’t know how drive in it, slippery sidewalks, hard snowballs to the head, lost mittens, cold and runny noses, brown wet slush as it melts…but let’s just focus on the positive for now.

Let’s just enjoy this winter wonderland.
